About Saint George’s
The Anglican Church of Saint George the Martyr is a parish in the bustling upstate of South Carolina worshipping God in the sacramental tradition of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer. Fr. Paul Rivard, a graduate of Erskine Seminary and native of Saskatchewan, Canada, has been the Rector since 2012. Fr. Stokes Smith serves as an assisting priest and has experience both as a clergyman and a professional counsellor working in the hospital setting. Fr. Richard Bugyi-Sutter also serves as an assisting priest and has been a clergyman in the Continuing Anglican Church since the 1990’s while often teaching English at various colleges and universities during that time.

“We are nourished by the sacramental grace of Christ, inspired by the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and humbled by the majesty of God the Father.”
